About Us
Every candle is made from natural soy wax, an environmentally friendly wax that creates a clean, even burn. We only use high quality fragrance oils, lead free cotton wicks, and reusable collectible jars and pails, reminiscent of Montana farm life. Our candles are the perfect reflection of our personal faith and desire to touch others in a meaningful way, thus our motto: "Sharing the Light with the world, one candle at a time".
Cindy Swan of Red Lodge, Montana is the owner of Beartooth Candle Company, a privately held, LLC. She spent summers in Fishtail helping her grandparents on the small family cattle ranch, where her own parents have since retired. She grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothills and fond childhood memories eventually brought her and her husband back to Montana, where they settled full-time in Red Lodge.
Cindy’s background consists of creative design, refurbished antiques and crafts, and electronic media, with dual degrees in business marketing and management. She credits her creative streak to the influence of her parents and grandparents who could make anything new out of something old.
